City Farm DC (CFDC) is a not-for-profit, urban gardening collective in the District of Columbia (DC). CFDC connects private landowners with outdoor growing space ("Growers") to willing gardening partners ("Gardeners").

With CFDC's guidance, Growers and Gardeners agree on simple terms, split costs, and share food harvests. CFDC provides administrative support, "on vacation" gardening coverage, tool loans, subsidized gardening resources (e.g. seeds, compost, etc.), ongoing growing and gardening workshops, weekly and monthly "Gardeners' Markets" for all CFDC participants, sponsored "Plot-Luck" dinners and picnics, online discussion forums and informational exchanges, and an online KnowledgeBase. CFDC organizes community outreach to DC residents who have never been exposed to growing or eating local, sustainably-grown food.
